Be a Winter Warrior this Winter!!
Join Fleet Feet for this FREE Winter Program to help motivate you to stay active in the winter time.
Simply come to one of our workouts and you will automatically be entered in the program.
This program is for walkers AND runners, exercise beginners and exercise fiends. We don't care, we just want you to stay active this winter. One rule - no whining on the weather or else we can poke jokes at you :)

The program is completely FREE and includes:
- A Kickoff Party with refreshments and treats, plus in-store discounts.
- Prizes along the way from water bottles, to socks to sack packs and more.. Prizes are based on points earned from workouts attended or events attended
- FREE group workouts
- E-mails on special group extracurricular outings (this is a way to earn extra points)
- Fabulous people to workout with and commiserate with on the winter weather
- The program begins December 1st, 2008 through March 2nd, 2009
- The program is based on amount of points accrued by participating in workouts and local races. See point system below.
- To join simply attend one of our workouts or the kickoff party and you are automatically in.
- At the end , the one with the most points will be deemed the Winter Warrior!!!

How to Join
How do you accrue points?
1. Participate in any of the Fleet Feet Workouts (Walkers and Runners Welcome). These start at Fleet Feet and you must do the workout versus doing an alternate course to accrue points.
Each Fleet Feet Workout is Valued at 5pts
- Tuesdays at 6PM - Hills Workouts (This is anywhere from 3 - 8 Miles depending on speed and distance)
- Fridays at 6PM - Happy Hour Run/Walk (This is a 3 or 4 mile run/walk around Brighton)
- Saturdays at 8AM - Carb Run/Walk (This is a 5 to 10 mile run/walk around Brighton) Runners you can go longer if you choose. The course will be provided Saturday Morning. After your workout we'll serve bagels and hot cocoa.
2. Finish Winter Events that YellowJacket Racing times
Each event is valued at 3pts
Includes: Any of the Freezeroo Races or any other races that come on our calendar during the program timeframe
3. Finish a Rochester Snowshoe Event, PolarCat Race or participate in an indoor track meet
Each event is valued at 1pt. The track meet is valued as a total of 1 pt.
4. Finish Lake Effect SnowShoe Festival on January 26th
The 13 miler is worth 12 pts, the 4 Mile is worth 8pts and the 2 Mile is worth 5pts and 1 pt for each sprint event you participate in.
How to join the Winter Warrior Program?
* Come to a workout anytime during December 1st and March 2nd, then you're in.
