BE A WINTER WARRIOR THIS WINTER!!
Join Fleet Feet for this FREE Winter Program to help motivate you to stay active in the winter time.
Simply come to one of our workouts and you will automatically be entered in the program.
This program is for walkers AND runners, exercise beginners and exercise fiends. We don't care, we just want you to stay active this winter.
One rule - no whining on the weather or else we can poke jokes at you :)
Program Begins Tuesday, December 13th, 2011 at either the Greece or Brighton Location and goes thru February 29th.
Join us at any Fleet Feet Sports workout, earn points, prizes, meet people and have fun!

EASTSIDE PARKING - Brighton, 2210 Monroe Avenue
Please heed caution parking. Do not park directly in front of the store where the windows are. Please watch for signs and unfortunately you can not park on Irving next to the store. Please adhere to all parking signs, you don't want to get ticketed. Carpool too if you can or bike. You can park at Dollinger & Associates, behind the building next door to the store or even by the High School Track and warm up over.

THE PROGRAM IS COMPLETELY FREE AND INCLUDES:
- A Kickoff Party at both locations on Tuesday, December 13th, 2011 with refreshments and treats, plus in-store discounts.
- The Westside is also doing a Ribbon Cutting on Tuesday, Dec. 13th. See Ribbon Cutting Agenda below.
- Prizes along the way from key chains, water bottles, to socks to sack packs and more...
- FREE group workouts
- E-mails on special group extracurricular outings
- Fabulous people to workout with and commiserate with on the winter weather
- The program is based on amount of points accrued by participating in workouts and local races. See point system below.
- At the end, the one with the most points will be deemed the Winter Warrior!!!
WHAT YOU CAN WIN ALONG THE WAY...
- 50 points - a prize
- 75 points - a good prize
- 100 points - a Winter Warrioresque Prize
- 125 points - a better than gooder prize
- 150 points - an even better prize
- 175 points - "A Way to Go Pat on the Back" and greater prize
- Over 200 points - the enjoyment of knowing you are in great shape now and one your way to being a top Winter Warrior
HOW DO YOU ACCRUE POINTS?
1. Participate in any of the Fleet Feet Workouts at either location (Walkers and Runners Welcome). These start at Fleet Feet and you must do the workout versus doing an alternate course to accrue points. See the rules.
Each Fleet Feet Workout is Valued at 5pts
- 2 Location Choices:
- Brighton, 2210 Monroe Avenue
- Greece, 2522 Ridgeway Avenue
- When:
- Tuesdays at 6PM - Hills Workouts on the East and Flatter Workout on the West (This is anywhere from 3 - 8 Miles depending on speed and distance/night)
- Fridays at 6PM - Happy Hour Run/Walk (This is a 3 or 4 mile run/walk around Brighton or Greece - depending where you join us)
- Saturdays at 8AM - Carb Run/Walk (This is a 4 to 10 mile run/walk around Brighton or Greece - depending where you join us) Runners you can go longer if you choose. The course will be provided Saturday Morning.
2. Finish Winter Events that YellowJacket Racing times
Each event is valued at 3pts
Includes: Any of the Freezeroo Races or any other races that come on our calendar during the program time frame.
3. Finish a Rochester Snowshoe Event, PolarCat Race or participate in an indoor track meet or triathlon.
Each event is valued at 1pt. The track meet & tri is valued as a total of 1 pt.
4. Finish Lake Effect Winter Trail Festival on January 22nd
The 13 miler is worth 12 pts, the 4 Mile is worth 8pts and the 2 Mile is worth 5pts and no double dipping on points.
5. Finish any Snow Cheap Trail Race
Each Snow Cheap Race is worth 7 pts
6. Finish the Darts Lake Dash at Camp Gorham in the Adirondacks on January 28th & 29th
The 5K is worth 6 points, the 10K is worth 10 points, each Snowlympic event is worth 1 point each.
HOW TO JOIN THE WINTER WARRIOR PROGRAM?
* Simply Come to a workout anytime at either location between December 13th and February 29th, then you're in.
