WalkFIT Beginner

Commitment: 11 weeks (offered spring, summer, fall)
Current Fitness Level: inactive

WalkFIT Beginner is perfect for those who have no desire to run, but still want to be active and healthy. A supportive and trained coach will help participants adopt a regular walking routine and assist them in meeting new fitness partners along the way. Participants will be encouraged and prepared to walk a 5K at the end of the training program.

 

 

Join us for a free informational session:

Start Date: Wednesday, June 28th @ The Armory, 6pm

Workout Locations: Fleet Feet Sports @ The Armory and various locations throughout Rochester, including Durand Eastman Park, Webster Park and Mendon  Ponds Park

Class Format: 2 weekly coached and mentored workouts

  • Wednesdays @ The Armory, 5:45pm. On 7/12/17 & 8/2/17 we will be walking from the Genesee Waterways Center.
  • Saturdays at different locations in Rochester, 7:45am. 7/15/17 & 9/2/17

Graduation Information: Rochester 5K

Cost WalkFIT 5K: Early bird registration fee $100 until June 23rd. On June 24th, the fee increases to $110. 

Refund Policy: Sorry, no refunds after Saturday July 9th. All refunds are partial
