URBAN FIT
Fleet Feet Sports first introduced Urban Fit as a pilot program in the Fall of 2010.
The program was a HUGE success and is back for 2011.
Goal:
1. To try something new just for the fun of it.
2. To challenge yourself physically in a new way
3. To build total body strength to improve your running and health

What the heck is Urban FIT?
Urban FIT is both an aerobic and anaerobic workout. It is both cardio and strength training. It is outdoors using what nature and our city gives us. It is challenging and fun.
What does Urban FIT entail?
During Urban FIT workouts we will be running a little bit but also be working on core strength exercises, total body exercises and what ever else we can think of. We’ll incorporate stairs, hills, benches and who knows what else into the workout so we can do sit ups, hops, lunges, wall sits, etc. If we can think it up, we just might do it.
Instructor: Gustavo Zajia Jr.
Gustavo is one hard core personal trainer with 15+ years experience of getting his clients in shape. He has partnered with Fleet Feet Sports at our request to help build this fun and exciting program. He will get us in the shape of our lives while making it fun (in a sadistic kind of way).
When/Where/How much?
- There will be 4 Seven Week Session offered this year.
- The first day of the start of each session is a Free Trial Workout Session to see if you enjoy it. Every workout thereafter in that session you must be registered.
- Fees - $25 for a 7 week session (Day 1 is a free trial) or $85 for ALL 4 sessions.
- Note: It is NOT $25 per one days workout - it's $25 for the entire 7 weeks.
- All on Thursdays at 6PM till 6:50PM - Locations are:
- FREE Trial - Thursday, Sept. 8th at 6PM at Cobbs Hill Park between Basketball and Tennis Courts
- Sept. 22nd - Cobbs Hill Park - Parking area between Basketball and Tennis Courts
- Sept. 29th - Highland Park - Reservoir Ave.
- Oct. 6th - High Falls - Platt Street and Brown's Race
- Oct. 13th - Remington's Pub & Restaurant - Merchants Road
- Oct. 20th - Highland Park - Reservoir Ave.
- Oct. 27th - Cobbs Hill Park - Parking area between Basketball and Tennis Courts
- Arrive early to check in - all workouts start promptly at 6PM
