My name is Rosemary and I coach the WalkFIT Intermediate and Half Marathon Training Programs at Fleet Feet Sports. I have been coaching for 3-4 sessions after mentoring for about the same number of sessions. I truly enjoy helping people achieve their goals or discover new ones! I started walking in 2013 after many years of relative inactivity and have never looked back! I am always looking for the next challenge/opportunity to push myself and am grateful for all the wonderful friends I have made through these programs. They frequently join me in these shenanigans! Next adventure…..Full walking marathon along the Boston Route! I have done all WalkFIT Programs, the Ton of Fun Weight Loss Challenge and I am a member of the Brooks Race Team. My favorite YellowJacket Race is the MVP Heath Care Rochester Marathon Half. I love this race and it really showcases Rochester and I am particularly fond of all the bridges on the route. My favorite places to walk here in Rochester are Turning Point Park, Durand Eastman Park and Genesee Valley Park. Before a workout I like to eat a bagel with peanut butter and drink coffee! One interesting fact about me is that I enjoy making and reading maps!
