Summer NO BOUNDARIES LEARN TO RUN 5K 

START DATE: Saturday, June 14, 2014. 

LOCATIONS: All group workouts are outdoors. Fleet Feet Sports Ridgeway 2522 Ridgeway Ave. Fleet Feet Sports Armory 145 Culver Rd. and various parks throughout Rochester: (Durand Eastman Park, Ontario Beach Park, Mendon Ponds Park, Webster Park, and Genesee Waterways Center.)

CLASS FORMAT: Two weekly organized and coached run workouts on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. 

  • 6:00pm on Wednesdays at Fleet Feet Sports Ridgeway 
  • 6:00pm on Wednesdays at Fleet Feet Sports Armory 
  • 8:00AM on Saturday mornings at varying locations in Rochester

COST:
Early bird registration now through June 10th $100.00. On June 11th the price increases to $110.00. Register early to save. Sorry no refunds after Saturday, June 28th, 2014. A $20.00 administration fee will be taken from all refunds.

WHAT IS NO BOUNDARIES LEARN TO RUN 5K:
A beginner running program designed to guide you safely and effectively into running, while learning valuable information on healthy living for life. Perfect for people who do not run at all, have a hard time starting or are unsure what to do. This program starts out walking and slowly builds into running, preparing you for a 5K (3.1 mile) race. Before entering the program you must be able to walk briskly for 30 minutes.

WHAT IS 2pt0 TRAINING: perfect for those who recently ran their first 5K and want to improve but are not yet ready for longer distances. This program works to improve speed, endurance and performance at the 5K level. Before entering the program you must be able to run 2 mile without stopping at or under a 16 minute per mile pace. 

WHAT IS 3pt0 TRAINING:
Perfect for those who can run between 2-3 miles but have a difficult time going further than the 5K distance. This program will train you to run the 10K distance (6.2 miles). Great training program for aspiring half marathoners. Participants must be able to run 2 miles without stopping under or at 16 minute per mile pace.
