Management and Prevention of ITB Syndrome

Monday, Nov 9th
7:15pm at Ridgeway

ITB Syndome is no joke. That's why on November 9th, Michael Mimken from Unity Physical Therapy will be joining us at Fleet Feet Sports for a free presentation to discuss management and prevention of ITB syndrome in runners.  Iliotibial band syndrome involves pain along the outside of the thigh and knee. This common running injury has traditionally been treated with rest, ice, stretching and foam rolling, often having limited success. This presentation will look at how strength and flexibility imbalances in the pelvis and hips can lead to pain in the knee. The discussion will look at exercises that can help prevent or manage iliotibial band syndrome.

Presenting will be Michael Mimken, PT:
