Sodus Point Triathlon takes place in the quaint town of Sodus right on Lake Ontario. You get to swim near the popular Sodus Point lighthouse, bike within the old countryside and golf courses and run within the large colonial homes neighborhood. This race is also a benefit for the Sodus Point Neighborhood Association.

Swim Course: Wetsuits are HIGHLY recommended. We will be swimming in Lake Ontario in a triangle shape. If the water is deemed too rough by Park Officials the swim will be replaced with a run. The temperature can range anywhere from 55 to 68 degrees and the water terrain can be calm or wavy depending on wind flow. Wetsuits can be rented or purchased from Fleet Feet Sports.

Transition: This is located in the beach area of Sodus Point. Athletes will enter transition one way and exit another. However, when starting and returning from the run and bike you will be on the same street. See map of inside Sodus Point.
