Meet the Staff

Barb Boutillier
General Manager

Barb came to Fleet Feet Sports Rochester with 12 years experience working for Gap Inc.  As the Center Manager, she managed 3 stores with over 100 employees each. Barb grew up watching and cheering for her younger brother (Boots) in races all over the country. As a graduate of Fleet Feet's No Boundaries Program, she has completed everything from 5Ks to Half Marathons to trail races with Boots cheering her on every step of the way! Barb leads the staff with a fun, enthusiastic energy. While her schedule is packed--making sure both Fleet Feet Sports Rochester locations are running smoothly and taking amazing race photos at Fleet Feet Sports/YellowJacket Racing events--Barb still finds time to enjoy hiking, biking, snowshoeing, interior design, photography, and hanging out with friends and family.

Mark Andrews
Receiving Manager

Mark, originally from Canisteo, New York, is well-known in the Rochester running community. He was a 2-time Olympic Trials Marathon Qualifier, the 1995 Philadelphia Marathon Champion, the 2011 USATF Half Marathon Masters Champion, and twice crowned Rochester Runner of the Year. Extremely hard-working and talented, Mark also has a strong health and fitness background. He has been a Personal Trainer and managed and owned a gym. Mark brings a great wealth of knowledge to Fleet Feet Sports Rochester; most recently he designed the training schedule for the new Boston 365 program. While his passion is running, Mark has recently taken a liking to golf as well.

Mary Ann DuPre
Inventory & Metrics Manager

Mary Ann comes to Fleet Feet Sports Rochester with over 30 years of Retail Management experience.  She was born in Rochester but moved to California to work with the International Frisbee Association, organizing tournaments all over the country. She then headed to Texas and became a “sherpa” for her marathoning brother, Pete. Now living back in Rochester, Mary Ann traveled to Walt Disney World earlier this year to support her brother and sister-in-law in the Wine & Dine Half Marathon and was bitten by the running bug herself! She completed the Mickey’s Jingle Jungle 5k--her very first race--and then returned to home to participate in the Webster Turkey Trot, Jingle Bell 5k, and Reindeer Run 5k. Mary Ann's hobbies include hiking, reading, cooking, and volunteering with several philanthropic causes including the March of Dimes.

Kim Smith
Brand Manager

Kim, originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, is a long-time resident of Rochester. She married her high school sweetheart, and together they have 2 children and a very lively dog! Before becoming a mom, Kim was the Creative Director at Screenvision Direct. After her children were born, Kim decided to work part-time at the YMCA where she was teaching group exercise classes. There she developed and directed the YMCA Kids Marathon, a very popular summer running program, for 8 years. Kim is a runner herself but began somewhat untraditionally, going from "non-runner to marathoner" in only 6 months! En route to conquering 26.2 miles, Kim completed her first 5K and 10K as well. Kim is very exited to be part of the Fleet Feet Sports Rochester & YellowJacket Racing team, promoting fit and healthy lifestyles in the Rochester area.

Kate Brett
Training Program Coordinator

Kate graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a Business Marketing degree. While attending Fredonia she ran all 4 seasons of indoor & outdoor track and 3 seasons of cross country. She is a Webster Schroeder High School alumni, where she participated in swimming & diving and indoor & outdoor track. She has a passion for hurdling and her favorite event to race is the 400 hurdles. Kate comes to us from the YMCA where she worked in a variety of positions. She loves meeting, encouraging, and spending time with all of our Training Program participants.

Suzanne Macaulay
Assistant Manager (Ridgeway)

Suzanne hails from Long Island but she, her husband, and their 3 children are embracing the Rochester winters... sort of! Suzanne began running in high school, and has raced everything from 400 meters to 26.2 miles. Her favorite distance, however, is the Half Marathon. In the summer of 2011, Suzanne became a Neptune-level member of the Half Fanatics (a Half Marathon enthusiast club) by running 3 half marathons in just 57 days, and in 2013 she hopes to run 6 Half Marathons in 6 consecutive months.  She holds a BA in English from Molloy College and an MS in Library Science from Long Island University-CW Post. Suzanne's hobbies include blasting Jock Jams and quoting 80's movies.

Caitlin Bowers
Assistant Manager (Brighton)

Caitlin, a Rochester native, holds a Bachelor’s Degree as well as some Masters credits in Dance. Her passion is choreography, and she dreams of creating her own dance company in the near-future. In High School Caitlin ran Cross County and pole vaulted for Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field. After a running-hiatus, Caitlin is now getting back into the sport and loves the encouraging, supportive atmosphere here at Fleet Feet Sports. Caitlin enjoys meeting new people, visiting art galleries, discovering new music, and spending time with family. Even though Caitlin can act goofy with friends, she has a fiercely competitive side—even if it’s just playing board games.

Nate Lowe
Full-Time FIT Specialist, Staff Development, Boston 365 and Half & Full Marathon Training Coach, Good Form Running Clinician

Nate is a Spencerport High School Alumnus and RIT graduate, where he received a degree in Biotechnology. Nate has been running since his youth and ran all three seasons for RIT as Team Captain.  Nate was one of the RIT Team Members that ran across the United States--an amazing experience he will never be able to replicate. He was also a member of the Fleet Feet Sports Rochester Team that went the the 2011 Corporate Challenge World Championships in Singapore. Nate simply loves running, loves the lifestyle, is a running shoe geek, and enjoys delving into the mechanics of how the foot functions. In recent years, Nate has developed a passion for triathloning.

Jennica Liberatore
Full-Time FIT Specialist, Community Outreach Coordinator, Brooks Fleet Feet Sports Rochester Racing Team Manager

Jennica is a former dancer who began running in the Summer of 2010. The following summer she was already training for her first Full Marathon, Rochester MVP, with Fleet Feet Sports's Full Marathon Training Program. In May of 2012 Jennica completed the formidable Sehgahunda, a 26.3 mile trail race in Letchworth State Park and then headed to Japan where she ran a Half Marathon in the Fuji foothills and hiked Mt Fuji. For the upcoming year, she has set her sights on triathalon training and a 50K. Jennica holds a degree in School Counseling and when she isn't out running on the roads and trails of Rochester, she enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, sewing, and baking.

Carianne Blain
Full-Time FIT Specialist

Carianne, a Rochester native, began dancing and skiing when she was 3-years-old. She started running at age 12 and later joined her high school Cross Country and Track teams. A full dance scholarship forced her to put running on hold until March of 2012. Just a few months later, Carianne ran Sehgahunda, finishing 3rd Female Overall! In September she ran the Rochester MVP Marathon, only her second marathon ever, and finished 2nd Female Overall. Carianne graduated from Pratt Institute in 2010 with a Bachelors degree in Photography and calls herself "an artist with a competitive drive for running!" Her hobbies include hiking, swimming, downhill skiing, dancing, and just being outdoors.

Sarah Wilcox
FIT Specialist

Sarah, an elementary school teacher by day and Fleet Feet Sports FIT Specialist by night, will receive her Masters in Education with a Concentration in Literacy this May from Nazareth College, where she ran as an undergraduate student. Her goal is to run one marathon a year for the rest of her life, and you can find her tackling the trails of Mendon Ponds every Sunday morning with her dad. A dedicated runner, Sarah insists she cannot head out the door without her Garmin 410, Balega socks, and Lemon Lime Nuun. The staff loves her zany sense of humor and our customers love her attentiveness, making Sarah a win-win!

Jacob McManus
FIT Specialist

Jake, Suzanne's very best friend, is a graduate of Greece Arcadia High School, where he was Captain of the Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track teams. He is currently attending MCC as part of a 2+2 program with SUNY Brockport majoring in Athletic Training. Naturally, his education and experience in this field is highly valued by all of us at Fleet Feet Sports Rochester. Jake's favorite candy is Twix but he can be just as easily bribed with Skittles. He is currently training for his first Half Marathon, but prefers running trails over roads. Jake is also a true Guitar Hero--he's been ranked as high as 80th in the world--but can't tell the difference between Billy Joel and Elton John.

Mike Baxter
FIT Specialist, Tri 101 Coach

Mike comes to Fleet Feet Sports after 32 years of teaching in the Rochester City School District. Mike is originally from Lowville, NY, and moved to Rochester to teach and participate in the active running community. He has an extensive background in triathlon training and multisport races and lends his vast experiences to Fleet Feet Sports Rochester's Half & Full Marathon Training Program as well as our Tri Community College training program. His goal is to help lead others to live a healthy lifestyle. Mike is a 5-time USAT Triathlon Nationals participant and competed in 13 multisport races in 2011.

Sarah Butler
FIT Specialist

Sarah is currently a senior at Greece Athena High School where she was captain of the Varsity Cross Country team. Sarah also plays lacrosse in the Winter and Spring. She completed her first Half Marathon last year, the Flower City Half, and cannot wait to train for another! Sarah is a huge fan of The Hunger Games series, but don't call her a bandwagoner--she read the books before they were cool.

Ben Mongeau
FIT Specialist

Ben is a former Cross Country runner who still greatly enjoys the trails of Rochester. He has twice completed Walt Disney World's Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge, a two-day 39.3-mile event where participants run the Half Marathon on Saturday and the Full Marathon on Sunday. Ben recently finished the Yuengling Shamrock Marathon in March 2013 and credits the promise of coffee waiting at the end of long runs for getting him through training. Ben's calm demeanor and attentiveness makes him a strong asset to the Fleet Feet Sports Rochester FIT team. Since Ben is a little camera shy, you'll recognize him in-store as the guy with the beard. No, the other guy with a beard.

Jared "JD" Foster
FIT Specialist

Jared began running in April of 2012 and joined our Half Marathon Training Program over the summer. He completed his first Half Marathon, Rochester MVP, in September and looks forward to training for his first Full Marathon in the Fall of 2013. Although he is relatively new to running, Jared has already racked up quite a race resume completing several 5Ks, a 12K, a 20K, and the infamous Mendon Mauler. Jared holds an Associates Degree in Biblical Theology, owns his own company, and plays guitar and bass. The rest of the staff loves Jared's spirit and that he brings us Starbucks on snowy afternoons!

Jenna Rudnitsky
FIT Specialist

Jenna, a former soccer player, enjoys running with her dog. She completed her first Half Marathon in 2010 and looks forward to running more! She has studied Humanities, Psychology, and French, and is now pursuing the Occupational Sciences at MCC. She loves to travel, learn about other cultures, and the great outdoors including hiking, canoeing, and both downhill and cross country skiing. Jenna, who is full of energy and greets all of our customers with a warm, welcoming smile, is known as our resident Sweaty Band expert!

Jeff Suhr
FIT Specialist

Jeff is a new addition to the Fleet Feet Sports Rochester FIT team. He holds a degree in Biology from SUNY Brockport, where he was captain of the Sprint Team and competed several times in the Eastern College Athletic Conference. Although he loves running, Jeff's favorite sport is indoor badminton but, sadly, he can never find anywhere to play. He is also an avid tennis fan and enjoys creating electronic music. Jeff is attempting to learn piano but finds 88 keys is unnecessary and ridiculous (beliefs that may be thwarting his efforts). Jeff is a Licensed Massage Therapist and his knowledge of how the human body functions will be a great asset to our customers!

Coming soon...
